If spray foam is blocking your mortgage, trapping damp in your loft or making your Weston super Mare home hard to sell, our insulation removal service in Weston super Mare, Somerset gets it out properly. We handle open cell and closed cell foam, loft rolls and cavity fill across the town and surrounding villages. Same-day surveys, fixed pricing and full waste removal.
Insulation removal service in Weston super Mare, Somerset is the controlled stripping of spray foam, loose-fill and board insulation from lofts, roofs, cavity walls and commercial units. We cut the foam back with a spray foam removal saw and oscillating multi-tool, bag it, and vacuum the dust with an industrial vacuum. Your roof timbers then get checked for rot and condensation before anything new goes back in.
Most of our Weston super Mare work comes from three situations: a mortgage lender refusing to lend on a foam-insulated roof, loft condensation soaking the rafters, or a surveyor flagging reduced roof ventilation. Homes around Worle, Milton and Uphill are especially prone because of older roof designs and coastal damp. If you need an insulation extraction service Weston super Mare homeowners trust, we can usually survey within 24 hours.
Every insulation removal job in Weston super Mare includes the survey, the removal itself, waste disposal and a completion pack. Replacement insulation and any timber repairs are quoted separately if they are needed, so you only pay for what your property actually requires.
We inspect the loft or cavity with a thermal imaging camera, identify the foam type, and check for trapped moisture. You get a written report with photos and a fixed removal price, normally within two hours of the visit.
Foam is cut, blasted or prised out using the method that suits your roof. All work follows COSHH regulations, with respirators, protective clothing and dust sheeting used throughout to keep your home clean.
After removal we vacuum every surface with an industrial vacuum, including rafters, battens and the loft floor. You are left with a clean, dust-free space rather than a pile of foam fragments to deal with yourself.
We check every rafter and batten for rot, condensation staining and insect damage once the foam is off. Anything affected is photographed and reported to you the same day, with a separate price if treatment or replacement is needed.
All foam waste leaves your property in sealed bags and is disposed of through licensed carriers. You receive a waste transfer note, dated before-and-after photos and a short method statement for your lender, buyer or insurer.
We visit your property, inspect the loft or cavity with a thermal imaging camera, and identify whether the foam is open cell or closed cell. You get a written fixed price the same day, usually within two hours of the visit. No charge, no obligation.

Our technicians wear full respirators and protective clothing and work to COSHH regulations throughout. Foam is cut, prised or blasted away, then vacuumed with an industrial vacuum. A typical three-bedroom loft takes one to two days; larger roofs or cavity jobs can run to three.

A three-bedroom semi in Worle had closed cell foam sprayed between the rafters by a previous owner. The buyer's lender refused to lend, and the sale had been stuck for six weeks with no progress.
We removed the foam in two days, treated a small patch of surface rot on two rafters, and supplied a dated photo pack and waste transfer note. The lender reconsidered within three weeks and the sale completed.
A landlord in Milton had water dripping from the loft onto a bedroom ceiling. Foam had blocked the eaves ventilation entirely, and humidity in the loft was sitting above 80 percent.
We stripped the foam, vacuumed the loft, and reopened the ventilation paths. Humidity dropped to around 55 percent within a fortnight, and the ceiling below has stayed dry through two winters.
A coastal property in Uphill had foam bonded directly to the roof felt. Two other contractors had quoted to cut it out, which would have torn the felt and required a full roof covering replacement.
We used dry ice blasting to lift the foam without abrasion. The felt came through undamaged, and thermal imaging confirmed the roof was ventilating correctly before we left.
